This website showcases how advertisers can promote their products and reach their key audience on YouTube.
This project is all about putting accessibility and performance first, while respecting Google's design guidelines and development standards.
The site was built using Google's internal tech stack, leveraging Jinja templates, Sass and vanilla JS code. The JS code is intended to progressively enhance the semantic HTML markup, and is not required to access the information on the website.
An interesting challenge was posed by the fact that YouTube guidelines required triangular cutouts and askew section borders. A cross-browser, responsive solution was achieved by using SVG and <foreignObject>.
The site is available in 19 languages and supports RTL layouts.
